5.2.08 Evening

Kris, Ashley and I are in Steve's room right now. He barely has a fever (99.0) though says that he does feel cold. However, it seems more bearable tonight than it has been. We had a good day; Steve was in his chair for about five hours. When we went to the gym, he was able to see the blue sky with a few fat, white clouds, three buildings and some treetops. It was nice to see the daylight light up his face.

They increased Steve's calories since he lost a little weight with the halo on. He looks good--his face has filled in. All in all, a solid day. The kind that we were hoping for a just a few days ago, ya know? Onward and upward....
