As the day went on, Steve started to feel better. As of earlier tonight, he was sleeping, though MaryAnn was hoping he would stay up so that he would sleep through the night. Unfortunately, in the time that we were on the phone, his temperature was climbing. It was 101.1. Hopefully, it never got higher than that.
Steve no longer needs blood transfusions, he had lost blood as a result of the recovering from the sinus surgery. His feeding tube seemed to be the root of his stomach issues. He had a procedure today which we hope will means these issues are behind him now.
The doctor said that his fever at this point could be the from the surgery. Apparently, fevers aren't uncommon after procedures. So, it seems that by days end, he was having a better day than yesterday. My parents arrive in the morning, so they should keep him pretty assumed with their travel tales.
