5.1.08 Afternoon

Steve has had a solid day so far. He was in his chair for about six hours, he had his tour this morning and he had visits from both his buddies--Lex and Lorenzo. Both guys are super positive and encouraging. Lex made him smile a lot. It was AWESOME. He's a funny guy that Lex Luger. He talked a great deal about food. Steve and Lex shared their mutual love of Outback Steakhouse.

The doctors have approved friends visiting Steve. But this being ICU means that the numbers of visitors allowed is limited. Joe has requested that anyone intending to visit, email SteveCJ5@mchsi.com. He will coordinate the visits so that no one makes the trip and is unable to see Steve. Thanks everyone.

Fingers crossed, Steve will continue to feel good right into and through the night.
