Kris and April surprised Steve at about 12:30 yesterday. He was really glad to see them. Unfortunately, Ashley had to stay in AL since she is on call.

Steve has an infection around his trach again. The good news is that his white blood cell count is good--so they are not too concerned about it right now. Steve did well in the chair yesterday, he was able to sit up a little higher thanks to the medication (his blood pressure was stable).

Joe and MaryAnn, if you are reading this now, I hope to bug you in a bit for details on today. Stay tuned everyone!
