Well, today was a tough one. Steve has a fever again, and the infection is back in his lungs. It's a pretty bad infection which they believe may have been caused by the secretions from the trach running down into his lungs. As a result of the infection, he had difficulty breathing all day. His blood pressure was a little off too. Not surprisingly, he was uncomfortable today.

The wrestler Lex Luger, who's in a wheelchair now and volunteers at the Shepherd Center, came by to see Steven, but Steven was getting an x-ray at the time. He's due to come back since the doctor called him to come in and speak with Steve personally. Go Hulk!

Steve was in his chair for about five hours today, but his blood pressure kept evelating, so they had to keep laying him back.

He's looking forward to Kris and Ashley coming. He doesn't know that April is also coming, she's surprising him. Hopefully the smiles will bring strength and healing this weekend. In fact I am sure they will.
